ASRLab is continuously strengthening its research infrastructure to support advanced studies in artificial intelligence, digital twins, extended reality, autonomous systems, and verification and validation.
High-Performance Computing
The laboratory is equipped with high-performance workstations powered by NVIDIA RTX 4000 Ada and NVIDIA RTX 4060 GPUs.
These systems provide the computational capacity required for demanding research activities such as:
- Large-scale data analytics
- AI model development and evaluation
- AI-assisted software testing
- Digital twin simulation
- Robotic simulation and verification
- Computer vision and perception research
Extended Reality
Extended Reality technologies provide an additional experimental environment for research involving autonomous and intelligent systems.
ASRLab plans to use XR headsets and immersive environments for research on human-system interaction, industrial training, autonomous systems, and verification processes.
XR-based environments also enable scenarios that may be difficult, expensive, or unsafe to reproduce directly in physical systems.
Digital Twins & Simulation
Simulation and Digital Twin technologies are an important part of ASRLab's research methodology.
They enable researchers to model system behaviour, execute repeatable test scenarios, analyse operational data, and evaluate system performance before deployment in real-world environments.
These capabilities complement ASRLab's research in software testing, fault injection, verification and validation, and dependable autonomous systems.
Collaborative Research Environment
Dedicated workspaces for different research areas are designed to support interdisciplinary collaboration among researchers working on software engineering, AI, autonomous systems, robotics, Digital Twins, and XR.
By combining computing resources, research software, datasets, and experimental environments, ASRLab aims to accelerate both academic research and industry-oriented R&D activities.
